Therapeutic Strength Training: Mondays at 12pm
Therapeutics with Sam combines modalities of physical therapy (such as therapeutic exercise, self treatment techniques, and neuromuscular training) with classical yoga postures and breathing. These classes utilize common yoga props, as well as resistance bands, weights, chairs, the Yoga Wall, and more. A portion of class will be led, and a portion will be self-guided, in efforts to help students develop a sense of autonomy and carry-over into home practice.
2nd & 4th Sundays at 9:30am
Therapeutics with Joelle is a yoga class that explores the form and function of postures and practices with the assistance of the Yoga Wall to help you find a balance of steadiness and ease in your body and mind. Learn how breath, alignment, Yogic philosophy, and subtle body awareness can help support your daily life and overall movement experience and how to feel practice from the inside in a way that best serves your unique body and being.
Thursdays at 9:30: Functional Movement with Breath
Join Dani for class to help target educational awareness in understanding the principals of poses and breathing techniques for cultivating a healthy body, clear mind and space for awareness. We will focus in a supportive capacity with lots of props like a chair, the wall, blocks, blankets, belts to dig deep in custom alignment, flexibility, strength and resilience to experience the pose for uniting ourselves into our body, breath and mind for holistic health benefits.
Tuesdays at 7:15pm
This weekly 1-hour class will offer students an opened door to a world of movement, philosophy, and laughter. All skill levels are welcome, and beginners are especially encouraged!

Yoga Wall for Back Care and Emotional Health
Good posture is the foundation for a pain free back. This class will focus on the spine and the emotional behaviors that relate to the back, how the tension is held in the body and techniques to release, strengthen and align. Come lengthen and strengthen your spine to help move out of the habitual behaviors that might be making your back hurt . All levels welcome. Please be ready to share and care about your back.

Yoga Wall For Bone and Joint Health
This small group series will incorporate the Yoga Wall and other props to support healthy bones and joints to keep you strong, sturdy, and agile. Movement through safe ranges of motion and dynamic and static strengthening poses will be incorporated in a mindful, breath centered practice. All levels and abilities are welcome.

This series for experienced practitioners invites you to go deep in the way that best serves you. Delve into your breath, asana, meditation, and your own spiritual learning. Advanced wall work is less about fancy tricks and more about exploring your relationship with the Yoga Wall, posture variations that benefit you, along with cultivating a focused inner awareness.

Yoga Wall for Strength and Mobility
The aim of Yoga is to bring us a balance of steadiness and ease in the body and mind. On a physical level, this can mean focusing on our strength and stability along with building our capacity for mobility and release. The Yoga Wall can help us do all of that! In this All-Levels Wall series, we will bring a focused attention to alignment, muscular engagement, joint range of motion, and breath.

Community Acupuncture is a 30-45 minute treatment done in a shared space. In this group setting you will rest comfortably in a reclining chair or on a treatment table. These sessions focus on relaxation and the regulation of the immune and nervous systems. The Yoga Wall is a therapeutic tool to help support and enhance your practice. Yoga Wall Ropes were first introduced by BKS Iyengar many decades ago as a means to assist with postural alignment and make postures accessible to all practitioners. With the support of the Wall, you are more able to drop into your experience and find a balance of steadiness and ease in your body and mind. The focus of our Wappingers Falls, NY studio offerings is on private and small group Wall sessions so that you may work closely with the teacher to help meet your individual needs.
